Sporting history was made in Sydney when Britain’s Dr. Stephanie Cook won a gold medal in the first ever women’s modern pentathlon event held the Olympics. Not only is this a remarkable victory for British Athletics and lottery funding but it’s also a victory for natural drug free nutrition! Stephanie’s Olympic victory was helped along thanks to a specialist nutrition program she started some 12 months before Sydney, when she was striving to make the GB Olympic team. Her nutrition secret is called Green Magic and it’s a mix of super foods once used by ancient Olympians, containing concentrated green algae, cereal grass juices and sea vegetables. Stephanie says, ‘I like the fact that the product has been formulated by doctors and it’s ingredients are 100% natural’. This organic green food is becoming popular among athletes concerned about nandrolone and other steroids in sports supplements.

Green foods are packed with minerals and vitamins plus amino acids, these provide extra energy and help repair and renew tired muscles. Green Magic also contains antioxidants including; CO Enzyme Q 10, Beta Carotene and plant enzymes Super Oxide Dismutase( SOD) - these help recovery from tissue damage and fatigue caused from free radical damage from intensive exercise. Free radicals are the athletes worst enemy, along with lactic acid build up - both of these are reduced by taking antioxidants.

Stephanie says ‘one of the first benefits I noticed after using Green Magic was that my recovery rate after completing my five disciplines (fencing, swimming, shooting, horse jumping, and running) was much faster’. Green Magic is also being promoted by David Lloyd Sports Centres – members are drinking the green powder after working out on the treadmill.

Dr. Greg White PhD, Medical Adviser to the British Olympic Association believes that Stephanie Cook’s nutrition program is one of the best available to UK athletes. Her sponsors, 21 year old health food manufacturing company New Spirit Naturals from Wokingham also supplied her with a food state multi vitamin pill plus a special supplement containing organic sulphur to keep her joints, ligaments and tissues free from injury. Other sports users of Green Magic include; five times world squash champion,Jonah Barrington and top jockey John Francombe. Green Magic is also approved by members of the Action For ME, because its proved so effective for treating chronic fatigue syndrome. It can be mixed into juice, or made into a great tasting smoothie drink with fresh fruit. Ideal dose is one or two servings daily. Cost is around 44 pence per serving, £ 39.95 for 90 days supply.
